L.A. Art Scene: Selections of California Art from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation

The Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation brings a selection of contemporary works to the Beverly Hills Municipal Gallery. This exhibition highlights works made by artists living and working in Los Angeles and is only a small cross-section of the many talented artists working here. L.A. Art Scene reflects the Foundation's mission to support and present works by local artists in their own community. Frederick R. Weisman was an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and art collector who believed that one should give back to the community in a meaningful way. With this in mind, he established the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation, which continues his legacy under the directorship of Billie Milam Weisman.
