Contemporary Art From The Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation
Frederick Weisman's passion for contemporary art is captured in this selection of works from his personal collection. Committed to the art of his day, he amassed a collection of over two thousand objects that survey the vibrant flowering of art that occurred from the 1960s to the present. This selection features work by the world's most respected contemporary artists, ranging from Pop to Postmodernism. It includes such internationally renowned artists as Christo, Jim Dine, Joe Goode, Red Grooms, David Hockney, Edward Ruscha and Frank Stella. Works will be on view in the Gregg G. Juarez Gallery, Ron Wilson-Designer Gallery, and West Gallery, in the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art. Funding is provided by the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation.
